Ridgeline RD LPR: The First 1,000 Rounds

Test Target: .476 moa (FGMM 77SMK, 5 rds)

OOTB first personal group .38 moa (Nosler .223 77g Pro Match HPBT, 5 rds)

I conducted an ammo assessment using popular 77g match ammo and note some key observations:

  • Avg 5 rd group: .52 moa

  • Avg ATZ for all brass cased ammo is inside .3 mils in E and .1 mils W

  • I’m confident each of these rounds can consistently produce sub-moa accuracy. I’ve had exceptional results with ammo thus far on the journey: BlackArc Munitions, AAC OTM, and FGMM. Although I’ve only used a small sample of Black Hills, OTM and MOD 1 C, my experience with them in the RD LPR has been consistent with my previous >10 years of use and top notch. Ammo pictured.

Key findings on RD LPR:

  • I’ve taken the rifle completely apart and it held zero

  • Cold bore shots have been consistent with .1 elev.

  • No definable positional shift

  • I’ve run entirely suppressed (KGM R6) and have zero hesitations competing with it as is (think impulse/flip/sight picture IE speed)

  • Paired w BlackArc Munitions NAS3 77 SMK, the data gathering/confirmation process has been the easiest I’ve experienced for 556. My zero was a .4 moa 5rd group and elevation was dead on all the way through transonic and at subsonic range at 1k
